Job Description:
As a Lead Hydrogen Technology Sales Engineer at Honeywell, you will drive the adoption and sales of our hydrogen technology solutions. Your responsibilities include identifying and engaging potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions from our hydrogen technology portfolio. You will be pivotal in growing our hydrogen business and positioning Honeywell as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly interact with customers to understand and meet their needs.
- Opportunity and Product Analysis: Identify growth opportunities and product development needs.
- Coaching and Training: Develop and deliver top-tier sales training and coach teams on product value propositions.
- Proposal Review: Participate in reviewing and preparing proposals.
- Technical Presentations: Conduct technical sales briefings for customers.
- Engineering Coordination: Coordinate engineering support for sales initiatives.
- Sales Collateral: Provide data for creating effective sales materials.
- Techno-Commercial Role: Prepare cost estimates and participate in bidding processes.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with effective cross-cultural communication skills.
- Strategic Influence: Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrixed team environment.
- Experience Level and Domain Expertise:
- Refinery Technologies/Operations: Experience in refinery technologies and operations, preferably with business development experience.
- Hydrogen Technologies: Knowledge of hydrogen technologies, especially pressure swing adsorption (PSA), refinery operations, and refinery hydrogen networks. Familiarity with green hydrogen technologies is a plus.
- Technical Qualifications: Degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred.
- Techno-Commercial Proposals: Experience in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and handling bidding processes.
- Independent and Leadership Skills: Ability to work independently and lead assignments. Support front-end sales teams with technical and commercial solutions.
- Customer Engagement and Network: Strong customer-facing skills and an established network in the industry.
- Communication and Strategic Influence: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers. Ability to influence and achieve results in a matrixed team environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and future mandates, especially in the hydrogen domain.
