DESCRIPTION

At AWS, we believe in a security and compliance culture are critical to accelerating regulated markets such as FedRAMP, DoD SRG, PCI, HIPAA, etc. and supporting them over time, using AWS security automation and and developer services as well as the rich security and compliance partner solutions such as CIS, Trend Micro, Splunk and others.As a security partner strategist, you will build initiatives and demonstrate thought leadership in the security and compliance disciplines, deliver awareness programs to educate solution providers, and work directly with partner and customers to accelerate solutions in regulated industries (i.e., financial services, healthcare and life sciences, and government). You will work with other AWS teams, APN Consulting and Technology partners, and other stakeholders to deliver in these areas, with the primary goal of growing the number of customers using AWS for security and compliance workloads, and growing the number of public sector solutions deployed on AWS which leverage automation for security and continuous risk treatment through the combination these two disciplines.

- Build C-level relationships with our top partners and generate interest in new AWS programs focused on security and compliance, to accelerate AWS adoption across the regulated markets.- Identify issues or roadblocks with existing processes. Create and promote solutions to keep processes running smoothly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years experience operating in a role related to international security and compliance, such as security or compliance auditing, public policy, business development with a security and compliance focus, or related role.
- 5+ years working in security and compliance role


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements in a given global region (USA, Asia, Latin America, European Union)
- - Target orientated, ambitious, creative, customer focused
- - Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- - Ability to create and execute integrated lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live and/or virtual events, webinars, email, organic social, paid media and sales insights.
- - Manage incoming leads and distribute across geographical/industry leaders
- - Maintain at least one internationally recognized cybersecurity certification, to include but not limited to CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or Security+
