As a Senior Manager Wholesale Activation, you will be part of a team of 15 colleagues working within Omnichannel Activation and approximately 25 people working in the wider Brand Department. You will be leading the activation team for Intersport and XXL in the Nordic Market, ensuring the best brand and commercial impact through top class activations at the point of sales. You will report to the Director Omnichannel, also based at our Nordic HQ in Solna, Sweden, who leads the full Omnichannel Activation team. You’ll have a team spread over Sweden and Norway and will travel across the Nordics every two months for 1-2 days (depending on projects) and to Europe twice a year for 3 days to participate in seasonal assortment handovers. You may occasionally work flexible hours to support activations.

Skills you’ll need:

  • University Degree or equivalent, ideally with marketing and sales focus
  • +5 year professional experience in the marketing area or sales area.
  • Fluent in English
  • Fully competent with IT packages (Excel and Powerpoint to an advanced level)
  • Strategic mindset:Proven knowledge in strategy development based on several insights, managing conflicting agendas and strong negotiation skills to influence stakeholders for implementation targeting consumer and/or customer.
  • Leadership:Great interpersonal skills and an adaptive communication style building relationships and trust, with a performance mindset setting targets and driving results.
  • Business Acumen:Experienced in analyzing data to balance immediate business goals with long-term brand growth.
  • Creativity:Ability to drive innovation and challenge status quo for continuous improvements.
  • Expertise:Strong background in activation, with a solid knowledge of industry standards within performance marketing, social media, retail and e-commerce. Confident and persuasive in presenting ideas. Strong budget management skills.
