Engineers are driven to provide build automation and troubleshooting and take a fast-paced, iterative approach using the Agile process.

Roles & Responsibilities

o Should learn new features, technologies and platforms in a relatively short amount of time

o Use the Agile process for the software development life cycle

o Participate in technical discussions and provide innovation to the product

o Identify improvement gaps and areas to help mature the product on its quality

o Proactive, strong sense of ownership and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:

o MS/BS in computer science or engineering

o 10+ years of experience in working with build, automation & source control tools and CI/CD workflows.

Highly Desired skills:

o Solid experience of build, Orchestration & Automation activities

o High-level understanding and management of source control tools - Perforce, GIT

o Ability to debug and troubleshoot network, OS & build related issues

o Strong OS fundamentals & understanding of performance/space tradeoffs on distributed platforms

o Experience in DevOps, Continuous integration and Continuous delivery tools

o Development and Debugging experience with Makefiles, C, Gradle, Shell, Groovy scripting

o Jenkins scripted Pipeline development experience.

o Excellent knowledge and experience in Containers, Ansible & Kubernetes

o Hands-on experience with Linux

Helpful to Have

o Experience in release engineering

o Excellent knowledge and experience in Containers, Ansible & Kubernetes

o Development and Automation experience with Python, Perl, Java etc using product APIs

o Virtualization Technologies, concepts & deployments
