Supports the International Leadership team by providing regular financial updates both of forecasted and actual MES financial performance.
Monitoring of all MES deals at Bid & Pre-Bid stage through SFDC while closely working with International Commercial teams.
Clearly articulates to the Leadership team the MES P&L financials and operational drivers for the performance.
Provides input into planning cycle in relation to existing and expected MES business.
Liaise with both HFS and external lenders to ensure drawdowns are made on a timely basis. Prepare drawdown packages as required.
Prepare/review annual calculations for MES deals – vary deal to deal. Communicate P&L on a timely basis.
Lead from finance perspective the unwind of MES balances where end of contract term is nearing.
Prepare annual updates for existing MES models & update for any contract change notices.
Ensure accounting implications of any contract change notices are accounted for correctly and recurring entries updated accordingly.
Understand MES balances on balance sheet and key drivers for quarterly movements.
Conduct Policy 6.0 reviews ensuring risk to the business is addressed on a timely basis.
Early engagement in transactions/projects sourced by HFS and Solutions teams; analyse project feasibility studies and business/financial models and articulate to senior leadership.
Support HFS in structuring, negotiating and executing Managed Equipment Services (MES) and any non-standard transactions (e.g. risk sharing models)
Challenge the commercial teams to develop solutions that support business growth objectives.
Support the bid teams in contract renewals/tender T&Cs guiding them on contractual terms including: price, performance requirements, penalties etc.
Lead commercial/OTR teams to operationalise new deals – compliant order booking & revenue recognition.
Drive digital solution for MES profitability to allow teams to have easy access to real time data to support quarterly profitability reviews.
Standardize MES model updates and recurring transactions – work with R2R accounting team to automate where possible.
Support commercial teams with pre-tender deal modelling tool.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
