What you’ll do:
- Lead and grow a team of SRE and DevOps engineers providing 24x7 Live Site coverage for a set of BTP services with Dev partners in Germany and Bulgaria.
- Manage a strong team by attracting and retaining the right technical people and talents.
- Establish an open and trustworthy environment.
- Create an inclusive team environment, showing concern for success and well-being of team members.
- Actively coach and/or mentor team members.
- Cooperate within and across teams and cross organizations on people development activities.
- Keep people motivated and productive.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a respectable and professional manner, building lasting relationships.
- Create project and execution plans, factoring in essential elements like monitoring and steering.
- Align priorities and demands from different stakeholders to form prioritized backlog for the team.
- Ensure Roadmap and SLAs are made available and transparent. Regularly evaluate stakeholders’ feedback about the delivered value
- Ensure timely and quality deliveries on commitments according to predefined priorities.
- Innovate and drive continuous improvement. Foster curiosity culture (support new ideas and fail fast approach). Challenge people for continuous improvement and recognize achievements.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of sound software engineering principles and best practices for operations. Be capable of driving projects end to end.
- Be passionate about DevOps/SRE practices with a pragmatic evaluation of the applicability in the concrete environment.
- Stay current on technology and understand how it may fit into or advance our strategic direction.
- Look for new opportunities to provide more value for the company and expand further the scope and size of the team and the area.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience managing DevOps or SRE teams
- 3+ years of practical project experience that cover a variety of scenarios
- Prior experience in operating cloud software is strongly desired
- Prior experience with applications on Amazon, Azure or GCP is strongly desired
