Roles and Responsibilities
Apply your knowledge in heat transfer, fluid flow to develop innovative thermal solutions for the GE Healthcare products.
Participate in a team framework on multi-generation technology programs to enable future design advancements, while independently executing tasks leveraging your technical skills.
Tasks include, but not limited to:
Advanced modeling and simulation, including high-fidelity analyses, with opportunities for in-house code development.
Develop and implement hardware for testing and validation, where applicable
Required Qualifications
Pursuing regular PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
Fundamental knowledge in any of the following areas: Heat Transfer / Fluid Mechanics
Expertise in physics-based flow/thermal modeling: Python/MATLAB
Understanding of wide concepts and designs of heat exchangers/ heat pipe
Experience in using commercial software (ANSYS, Fluent, ICEPACK)
Experience of using CAD software such as Creo to build assembly models.
Ability to design, execute, analyze experimental data.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new, unfamiliar technology areas and to abstract system level concepts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
