- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 2+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- 4+ years of experience in Systems/Software development and infrastructure.
- 3+ years building solutions to improve availability and scalability of enterprise implementations.
- In depth knowledge of operating Windows, Linux or other UNIX variants in a datacenter environment or AWS cloud.
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, problem solving and complexity analysis
- Strong system troubleshooting skills and able to deal with ambiguity and drive, design, and implement large scale system/software solutions.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience in architecting systems on AWS platform and service-oriented architecture
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project- Experience deploying or managing servers in large-scale, geographically diverse environments and storage infrastructure.

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
