Team/Role Overview:
Capital optimization is a critical area for Citi and represents a significant challenge facing the financial services industry. As a firm, our ability to effectively lead in this area will be a significant determinant of our future competitiveness. It also helps satisfy a regulatory requirement for enhanced connection between strategic planning and capital planning.
What you’ll do:
- Develop a consistent methodology and design a common platform for Services' optimal capital allocation decisions, in close collaboration with a variety of internal business constituents.
- Direct project prioritisation, platform direction, and future state planning and strategic direction.
- In collaboration with Analytics and Technology, realize returns infrastructure solutions and automation.
- Promote self-service platform use for every-day decision making.
- Democratize access to data and transparency of outcomes to teams.
- Administer a data-driven approach to allocate Service’ capital.
What we’ll need from you:
- Extensive world class dashboard designing and providing data structure specifications, with strong emphasis on turning insights into actions.
- Analytical problem solver with the ability to design data-driven technology solutions to answer business problems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact and drive usage across C-levels.
- Ability to partner well with a range of stakeholders in the firm to drive objectives to delivery, strong interpersonal skills to influence without authority as well as resolve conflict to mitigate roadblock.
- Ability to navigate large, matrix organization to find relevant personnel to remediate/solve key problems.
- Familiarity with client perspective as well as banking solutions and products.
- Awareness of bank capital regulation and bank liquidity regulation.
- Expertise in data analytics and working with data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, and other statistical tools required to lead analytic projects and guide offshore teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
