This role is based inNaarm – Melbourne.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and manage due diligence engagements related to the acquisition or disposal of businesses by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers. This includes analysing financial and operational results through review of accounting records and management interviews, preparing and evaluating pro forma financial information, and project managing teams, information flows, and key stakeholders.
- Deliver financial and commercial insights by identifying and analysing key value drivers that directly impact deal value and structuring. Based on your analysis, write up findings and recommendations that support decision-making.
- Contribute to team development and business growth by sharing technical and other knowledge with your team, supporting recruitment and key account initiatives, and identifying opportunities to offer additional services to clients by understanding the firm’s capabilities.

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, finance or economics, and membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants or an international equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in a Transaction Services role within an Advisory environment, working independently and engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple engagements.
- Strong Excel skills and a highly analytical mindset, with a passion for solving deal value questions within tight deal timelines.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.
