Your key responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the business development team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
  • Maintain and update databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and business development activities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Assist in managing client relationships by coordinating communications, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
  • Support the preparation of client proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and organizing business development events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and attendee communication.

Collaboration and Team Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to support business development initiatives.
  • Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas and best practices.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a business development or sales environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure
  • Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Recognised university degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 2-5 years of work experience in a related field
  • Willing to be based at EY Office in Penang.
