Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers to work with large-scale datasets, cloud technologies and production machine learning models.
- Lead the software development lifecycle including roadmap planning, stakeholder alignment, requirements gathering, execution and live support of cloud services and/or live products.
- Contributing to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
- Researching and evaluating emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities.
- Demonstrate strong technical leadership as well as knows how to hire, develop, and retain high quality technical talent.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in computer science or related areas with 4+ years of industry experience or Bachelors degree in computer science or related field with 6+ years of industry experience.
- 2+ years of engineering manager experience.
- Experience launching and maintaining live products build on cloud architecture
- Experience integrating Machine Learning models into production software.
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++, etc.)
- Experience creating production environment data analytics and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with handling noisy real world medical and patient data.
- Experience working with Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing or Generative AI (Foundation Models).
- Work experience in Healthcare imaging and AI, with prior experience delivering clinical software products
- Experience developing, launching and owning large scale, multi-tenant cloud services
Eligibility Requirements- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
- Must be willing to travel to attend meetings, workshops, conferences & etc.
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bellevue, WA.
