Theis an intermediate level role responsible for day-to-day operational tasks in trade finance transactional processing. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments and trade transactions.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Perform day-to-day operational tasks in trade finance transactional processing, customer service or compliance screening activity.

• Deliver services in line with agreed service standards and turnaround time to meet customers' expectations.

• Ensure compliance with guidelines and policies governing trade finance operations and compliance screening requirements.

• Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers; which include processing of payments, receivables and trade transactions, handling client queries or compliance screening workflow.

• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements

• Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent

• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors

• Contribute to and collaborate with trade operations projects as needed

• Develop comprehension of how the trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• This is a full night shift position (10.00pm/11.00pm to 7.00am/8.00am )

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 0-8 years of experience in a related role

• Previous relevant experience preferred

• Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations

• Effective verbal and written skills

• Effective communication and analytical skills

• Willing to work staggered hours or shifts.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
