Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of software development starting from brainstorming, design, implementation to deployment and testing
- Understand customer needs by collaborating closely with them and other stakeholders like Product Managers and Program Managers
- Create tools and products to increase efficiency of Paved Path Discovery and Learning and Engineering Support workflows
- Collaborate via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video calls
- Regularly learn new systems and tools as the Netflix platform and ecosystem evolve
Requirements
- You have experience developing software applications and designing APIs in Object Oriented languages, primarily Java, Python, Go and knowledge of React, and JavaScript
- You are passionate about solving developer productivity challenges for engineers at enterprise-scale
- You are biased-to-action and care deeply about the craft of software development
- You are open to working across the stack with primary focus on backend and ability to flex into frontend when needed
- You are self-driven and highly motivated to deliver top-tier solutions with minimal guidance.
- Possess exceptional collaboration and communication skills and a product centric mindset
