Job responsibilities
- Lead initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior managers of the Commercial & Investment Bank, Asset & Wealth Management and Corporate Functions
- Lead teams of 1-3 junior strategists to develop solutions in partnership with business leaders
- Develop “trusted advisor” relationships with multiple senior stakeholders
- Gather, synthesize, and creatively analyze data (e.g., financial modeling, valuation analysis) to provide insights, identify issues and arrive at recommendations
- Work collaboratively with team members across LOBs and staff areas
- Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Monitor industry trends and shares insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives
- Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in either a premier management consulting firm, with at least 1 year as a Manager/Engagement Manager/Project Leader, or in an investment banking division (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research), with at least 2 years as a Vice President
- Diverse strategic problem solving experience, such as leading multiple CEO/CFO level programs across the financial services sector
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), influence senior business leaders, work well in cross-functional teams
- Passion to foster an environment of active feedback and continuous development

- Financial Institutions Group (FIG) experience preferred
