Your key responsibilities:

As a
Senior Consultant Procurement,you support and (co-)lead project delivery teams improving our client’s business performance, while helping grow our practice outside of your client work. Drawing on your knowledge, skills, and experience, you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers, support proposals and other market making activities.

You will work independently as well as in teams. You will coach and support your colleagues and client team members, perform analyses and report finding and results. You will share your expertise with about 30 other colleagues in the Supply Chain & Operations team of EY Belgium. Our team focuses on delivering challenging projects across the entire supply chain. This role focuses on procurement projects, such as the creation of procurement operating models, sourcing strategies and technology implementations. Besides that, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on other supply chain related projects in planning, manufacturing, and logistics. The end goal is to serve our clients towards supply chain excellence.

In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to establish and strengthen the relationships with our regional and global Supply Chain leadership teams and take part in our international communities.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A master’s degree, preferably Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain or Logistics
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of professional procurement experience gained in the industry and/or consulting
• You are passionate about Procurement and can rely on strong knowledge and experience in this field as a buyer or category manager, or through projects in one of the following domains: category management, supplier relationship management, risk management, purchasing, …
• You are familiar with procurement technologies such as SAP, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Zycus,…
• Fluent written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch
• Excellent analytical skills, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills, and pragmatism in execution

It’s a plus if you also have:

• APICS certification is a plus
• Project management certification such as Prince2 or PMP is plus
• Any other additional Supply Chain, Project Management, Data & Analytics related certifications
