Your Role and Responsibilities IBM is seeking highly motivated individuals with comprehensive commercial procurement and client facing or consulting experience to join our team of procurement professionals. Specifically, we are looking for procurement professionals to join IBM’s Global Procurement team in support of IBM Procurement Services business area, servicing IBM’s external clients. Responsibility
Reading, evaluating, drafting, and revising contracts with customers
Understanding and documenting the scope, schedule, terms, and risks of contracts
Providing advice and guidance to different teams on contract generation and execution
Issuing opening letters and change orders
Collaborating with project managers to ensure contract obligations are met
Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The candidate must have a working knowledge of a global procurement strategy within a large corporation and have a background in one or more of the following Contract Administration ,
Yes, 3-5 years of Procurement Outsoucing experience including vendor negotiation
Apply analytical skills, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities
Apply communication skills, able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers
Apply collaboration/teaming techniques
Perform in matrix organization
Perform time management, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
