Development Engineer 3D printing

Your role:

As Development Engineer you are responsible for leading innovation and projects developing solutions aimed at improving the patient experience within a hospital environment.

You will be part of a small team focused on DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering, =3 D Metal printing) technology and will play a key role in transferring customer requirements into a DMLS product that can be produced at reasonable costs. Since this is a rather new technology, the team will be challenged by various unexpected phenomena’s which need to give energy

In your role you will focus on all physical aspects related to DMLS technology. Key goals:

• Optimizing process yield and productivity.

• Identify options to broaden capabilities in order to address a larger application space

• Supporting customers to optimize their design for additive technology.

You're the right fit if:

• A Master degree in engineering (preference combination of process technolgy & physics)

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in research and development environment in (process development, physics)

• Affinity with physics. Experience with DMLS / Metal sintering is key.

• Experience in implementing Quality & Regulatory requirements and working within a regulated business;

• You love to collaborate, you have excellent communication skills (you get the commitment) and a customer centric attitude;

• Ability to deal with setbacks and use these for growing.
