Regional data center lead responsible for APAC data center service delivery and operational assurance. Responsible for collaborating with APAC country heads and line of business leadership to prioritize data center capacity requirements and forecast demand for projects that have multi-year lead times. Service Delivery responsibilities include ensuring availability of APAC region data center capacity to meet business demand, prioritizing fulfillment, and reclamation of data center capacity with APAC business leads and APAC data center operations. Role is the managing interface, and coordinator, for all Real Estate Services(RES) and Citigroup Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) activities within the facility and is accountable for the audit of functions performed by these ancillary teams. Collaboration with CSIS and RES to track and remediate any internally identified or audit/risk identified areas to resolution ensuring stability of Data Center technology environments and regulatory compliance.
Operational Assurance responsibilities include oversight of regional risk management, governance, and regulatory entity requirements ensuring adherence to Citi internal risk standards and policies. Also responsible for meeting emerging regional data center power management requirements required by regulatory entities. Role includes BAO assignment for all data center and technology room colocation service providers. Citi data center BAO responsibilities for colocation providers include establishing SLAs that meet APAC business resiliency requirements for hosting franchise critical applications and requires focused inspection and monitoring of regulatory mandated maintenance activities of complex mechanical and electrical plants that occur continuously throughout the year. Scope of accountability extends into functions performed by CSIS and RES as outcome of data center facilities management audits and regional audits wholly owned by Data Center Services.
Responsibilities:
- Direct interaction with senior APAC business leaders and client representatives to ensure business alignment including CTI Region Lead, Global Digital Resilience, Production Support, Citi Real Estate Services, Internal Audit, Citi Security and Informational Services.
- Lead data center planning and regional forecasting initiatives to achieve business goals by prioritizing and implementing data center technology initiatives.
- Direct interaction with regional regulatory entities and oversight of regulatory compliance as it pertains to data center services.
- Engagement, oversight and tracking of all Third-Party service review meetings high-lighting areas of improvement, controls in place and future planned changes.
- Provide and detail Technology Environments to both Internal and External Auditors including regulatory engagement to meet requirements and provide information to demonstrate Citi’s data center environmental status, plans and robust controls.
- Establish meaningful metrics and management reports for the regions data centers, as well as global alignment with peer regions.
- Collaborate with Real Estate Services(RES) and Citigroup Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) leadership to coordinate end-to-end data center and facilities management audit preparation including process documentation of self-identified issues (SII), evidence collection, facility inspections, findings response and post audit action plans.
- Develop strategies to meet business strategy goals and demonstrate in-depth understanding of how Technology Infrastructure integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives
- Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas
- Provide services by using insights from stakeholder/partner relationships, actively seeking information to understand issues, expectations and needs
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards and recommend reengineering efforts for continuous improvement
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations, drawing on diverse range of internal and external sources

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a data center technology infrastructure leadership role with experience in people and project management and selected infrastructure technologies
- Applied subject matter expertise in data center strategic planning, DC capacity management, DC lifecycle management, power assurance, colocation management, Data Center mechanical and electrical plant maintenance and upkeep
- Experience in financial services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication with ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proven ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and identification of best practices
- Proven analytical, diagnostic and prioritizing skills with focus on execution and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high-pressure matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of various parts of a project/initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation/ requirements

- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
