As an Associate in the Consumer, Healthcare & Retail Wholesale Credit Risk EMEA team, you will work closely with business partners across the region, including Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, M&A, Corporate Bank, Markets, Treasury Services, and Trade Finance. You will focus on performing credit analysis on Investment Grade and Non-Investment Grade clients, structuring and documenting a wide variety of credit products. This role provides an opportunity to engage with a broad sector and client base, enhancing your expertise and contributing to the team's success.
Job responsibilities
- Lead in-depth due diligence processes and produce concise, insightful credit memos with clear recommendations.
- Challenge industry teams on modeling assumptions and devise appropriate downside scenarios.
- Understand and negotiate loan documentation, including LMA standard and leveraged finance documents.
- Cooperate closely with senior levels within the Commercial & Investment Bank and various product specialists.
- Liaise regularly with Primary Credit Officers and Senior Credit Officers.
- Manage exposure to a portfolio of names and industry sectors proactively.
- Understand J.P. Morgan’s Risk management policies and interact with stakeholders, including Regulators and Auditors.
- Coach and develop junior team members through on-the-job training and formal sessions.

- Previous experience reviewing and commenting on loan documentation and core corporate derivative documentation.
