Job responsibilities
Monitor Windows-based systems and applications across the organization.
Monitor application deployment, patch management, and security updates using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
Develop and maintain documentation related to device management processes and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance on Windows device management to IT staff and end-users.
Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in device management and security compliance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Infrastructure Engineer concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Windows device management.
- Proven experience in managing Windows devices in a corporate environment including MAC and Chromebooks
- Strong knowledge of SCCM for application deployment, patching, and compliance reporting.
- Good experience with Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Good experience with PowerShell and basic programmingand development skills .Familiarity with software virtualization techniques and application.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications in Windows device management and security are a plus.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to enable self sustainability.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment
