- Demonstrable experience working on Utility Mapping projects and have demonstrable project experience.
- Demonstrable experience managing Utility Mapping field crews.
- Work without direct day-to-day supervision and make technical and supervisory decisions for projects assigned within specified limits of authority.
- Experience with operating and interpreting digital outputs from various Utility Mapping instruments including the IDS Stream series and Radio Detection
- Experience with Survey modelling and GPR post-processing software.
- Understand and work to detailed specifications and standards such as PAS128.
- Past Surveying experience, particularly in the UK Highways Sector and Water Sector
- Full driving licence is essential
Desirable Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred but not essential
- Professional Membership of a Chartered Institution
- Evidence of planning daily activities considering possible multiple projects to meet productivity goals set by Project Managers.
- Evidence of recommendations to Project Managers for external equipment, procedural changes, and new equipment purchases.
- Evidence of input to Project Managers and Group Leaders for the formal performance evaluation of crew members.
- Evidence of survey department and field team training
