Your Role and Responsibilities- Software developer, implementing and consuming APIs for IBM SaaS Offerings
- in the IBM cloud infrastructure environment.

- Responsibilities are:
- Designing and developing storage integrations to enable and support cloud platform business efforts.
- Participate in troubleshooting and fixing issues in existing cloud storage environment.
- Required to produce code that is secure, scalable, and reliable, supported by unit tests, functional tests, and technical documentation.
- Required to participate in code reviews for your peers’ development work, triage and solve live customer issues, and participate in all scrum activities.
- Additionally, monitor, measure, and improve code and data performance for the application you help to develop.
- Available for occasional on-call shifts during daytime hours and weekends
- All of this will take place in a strong team environment, which necessitates strong communication.”
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years in development or a devops role
- 4+ years of experience with one or more CI/CD platform: Jenkins, Travis, Tekton
- 4+ years of experience with one or more cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, IBM)
- 3+ years of experience with Bash and PowerShell
- 3+ years of experience with Linux and package management
- 3+ years of experience with GitHub and pull request automation
- 1 or more years of experience with Terraform
- Experience with virtual server image management
- Understanding of cloud product marketplaces’
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Packer, Kubernetes, and/or Tekton
- Experience with OO programming languages (Golang, Python, C#)
- Experience with serverless computing (FaaS, Lambda)
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or other configuration management tool
- Knowledge of VPC and networking fundamentals/components
- MS Windows and/or SQL administration experience”
