Role Description:

As a CURAM Developer Consultant, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that translates system requirements into cutting-edge designs and developments in an agile environment. You’ll work closely with Architects and Senior Technical Consultants to design and develop customized systems, using the latest technologies and tools. Your work will power IBM and its clients worldwide, and you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experts from diverse backgrounds and industries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in leading functional and detailed requirement development, code development, and JAD sessions.
• Collaborate with Architects and Senior Technical Consultants on design and development.
• Apply your knowledge of computer science and programming principles to analyze requirements and design solutions.
• Develop business and workflow process models, rules, and evidence frameworks using Cúram
• Work with COTS Cúram Enterprise Framework Components, Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), Cúram Express Rules (CER), Oracle/DB2, Web Services (REST/SOAP), XML technology, and WebSphere.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in computer science and programming principles.
• Familiarity with Java/JEE, XML, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Web Services standards (REST, SOAP).
• Basic understanding of relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and SQL.
• Knowledge of Application Servers (IBM Websphere, WebLogic).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Strong technical writing skills using MS Office products, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with cloud computing, artificial intelligence, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Knowledge of design thinking principles and human-centered design.
• Certification in Java/JEE, Web Services, or related technologies.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory
