-Lead Requirements derivation, decomposition, analysis and management.
-Develop, evaluate, and implement system architecture designs to meet project requirements. This includes both functional and operational artifacts.
-Collaborate with stakeholders and users to define system requirements, specifications, and architecture.
-Generate diagraming, modeling and interface definitions for assigned system
-Uses expert knowledge of Systems Engineering discipline and Honeywell standards, processes, and tools in order to complete and ensure compliance of various projects.


-Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
-Support system assessments and trade studies to evaluate design options and make informed decisions.


-Prepare and maintain comprehensive program documentation including design review, system plans, system specifications, trade studies, test plans, test procedures and user manuals.
-Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.


-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
-6+ years of Engineering experience
-5+ years of System Engineering experience
-3+ years of experience leading a systems development team (requirements development, functional analysis, modes/states, architecture definition)
-Ability to travel up to 20%


-Master’s degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field
-Model based development
-Budget/schedule responsibility
-Experience with cryogenics, ultra-high vacuum, electro-magnetics, complex control systems, or cyber security
-Certification, coursework or demonstratable experience in Systems Engineering
-Membership and participation in INCOSE
-Proficiency with Cameo, or other model-based systems engineering (SysML) tools
-Proficiency with DOORS or other requirements management tools
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
-Innovative mindset and a passion for technology
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Multi-tasking and ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
-Ability to adapt to change based on project needs
-Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little guidance, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
-Experience with project management practices and toolsThe annual base salary or/ hourly pay rangefor this position is $123,000 - $154,000. Please note that this salaryinformation serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factorswhen extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope andresponsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, educationand training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.


U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government securityclearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion ofsecurity processing
