This job collaborates with internal teams to influence the quality and effectiveness of internal control processes. It involves evaluating and recommending alternative solutions, conducting assessments, and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend alternative solutions to improve internal control systems.
  • May act as a subject matter resource for entry level and developing colleagues
  • Conduct assessments of internal control effectiveness and compliance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal control practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

The BRCL manages and executes risk processes that (will) exist in the first line, such as risk identification, risk assessment, risk and control evaluation, management and resolution of Issues and Incidents, Risk and Compliance Plan (“RCP”) output, and risk reporting (as applicable).

This role has a primary focus in GFCCP on meeting the Enterprise Risk Management requirements for Business Continuity Planning , Third Party Risk Management, and Distribution and Support Agreement.

(BCM) Business Continuity Management

  • Understand the business and key processes where continuity and recovery is essential to maintaining operations and develop plans and align with program policies and expectations. Identify single points of failure.
  • Ensure business area processes are mapped, and areas of exposure are identified with continuity and recovery plans in place.
  • Ensure business area adheres to policy and procedures for BCM.

(TPRM) Third Part Risk Management

  • BRCL ensure the Functional Areas have completed TPRM activities timely and in adherence to the policy inclusive of maintaining the Third Party due diligence and risk assessment methodology and performing periodic reviews to validate compliance with the Program requirements.
  • Ensure business area adheres to policy and procedures for TPRM.

(DSA) Distribution and Support Agreement

  • BRCL ensure the monthly DSA reporting fulfillment by working with various Service Providers in GFCCP, Affiliate Service partners and Entity Service Owners. This includes reporting availability and accuracy, commentary readiness and outsourcing register update.
  • BRCL conduct regular and adhoc DSA contract refresh so that the contractual agreement is aligned to the current business operations as well meets regulatory requirements.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $140,250
