Job Description

In this position, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of developing state-of-the-art precision tools enabling the advancement of semiconductor technology.

You will gain knowledge and experience in multidisciplinary edge cutting fields.

Gain project management and people management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main interface between the Product Line, responsible for defining the requirements, and the HW group, responsible for implementation.
  • Define modules and sub-systems, clarify requirements, communicate tradeoffs, and facilitate the resolution of obstacles.
  • Translate project objectives into sub-systems and areas of responsibility, creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Manage and mitigate risks throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with the HW team to define the required CnF/PODs (Criticality andFeasibility/Proof-of-Design)for high-risk sub-systems.
  • Ensure the HW team builds and maintains an achievable correct project plan.
  • Work closely with the team to create setups to test the sub-systems and develop off & on-tool integration plan.
  • Lead and manage "Taskforces" for important field escalations and multidisciplinary problems, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Track and communicate DFx (Design for Cost, Reliability, Testability, Maintainability, etc.)
  • Ensure that project execution adheres to the organization's established "Product Development Process" to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the HW R&D staff promoting the growth and development of the organization.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Electronics, Mechanics, Physics, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience working on complex multidisciplinary projects in R&D, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Decent understanding of HW fields as: Optics, Electronics (HV/LV/Power/FPGA), Motion control, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Physics etc’.
  • Strong management capabilities in a matrix organization, with the ability to effectively collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Independent and highly motivated, curious, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate and challenge the team effectively while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Advantageous:
  • 10 years of experience in the semiconductor RnD industry.
  • Experience with SEM Technology and/or precision motion.
