The role reports to the Solution Planning Lead in Global Managed Services.

Your key responsibilities

  • Guide the Market & Competitive Analysis work in conjunction with the Knowledge team to ensure the right scope and input is created for the Market Strategy needs. If needed, you will create the Executive Analysis report.
  • Create iterations of the Business Plan documents, both in short and longer form in conjunction with the Solution Leader.
  • Coordinate with other teams on content of Business Plan documents to ensure accuracy and all feedback is considered in value proposition.
  • Facilitate and jointly create an EY Strategy to Compete that is unique to the solution and ensure solution design reflects the strategy throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop the Business Case needed to achieve the business strategy and plan to obtain investment needed. The Business Case will be developed by engaging with all contributing departments to create a wholistic representation of the investment.
  • Coordinate and influence solution leaders to ensure a mature solution is delivered to the market including all considerations of people, process, and technology.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong experience in facilitation of various stakeholders to create strategic vision for solutions.
  • Strong relationship management skills with demonstrated experience in working with board-level stakeholders and among peers.
  • Advanced strategic business acumen with the confidence and ability to recommend business strategy accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain business concepts to all audiences.
  • Experience with global products and consultative delivery experience.
  • Required flexibility in working with various EY stakeholders across the world and in different time zones.
  • Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Results oriented with the ability to produce products that deliver organizational benefit.


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 10+ years of working on product vision and strategy in a general manager or product manager type of role
  • Experience in creating business plans and market strategy for a variety of solutions in several industries
  • Experience in market and competitive intelligence summation
  • 5+ years of working in a complex managed services environment
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • Strong facilitation skills working with groups of varying sizes
