What you'll do:
As an Architecture Advisor (AA) Manager, you will focus on the following key areas:
Talent Engagement:
- Articulate a clear vision and priorities for the Architecture Advisory team and support the success of direct reports, the account team and all employees in the team surrounding - including partners.
- Ensure all contribute to the business goals of SAP and of the customer. Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued success of the team.
- Ensure all are actively transferring knowledge to colleagues - particularly those early on in their learning curve.
- Provide feedback, coaching and development opportunities.
Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities
- Support the team in their assessment of customer solutions from SAP and potential areas of opportunity for faster solution adoption & consumption, as well as SAP Business Suite footprint expansion.
- Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey for the most critical accounts as an integral member of the SAP account team.
- Ensure team’s business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency, cooperation, and alignment with SAP organizations, the customer, and partners.
- Provide overall coverage for linkage from the customer to SAP product development leadership.
Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer
- Support SAP in driving team behaviours in building customer demand through appropriate thought leadership and innovation positioning.
- Ensuring best practice adoption of business process map and business model with industry reference architecture focus.
- Qualify support requests for customer’s current enterprise landscape review and future needs.
- Drive the positioning of standard cloud architectures (plug & play) leveraging standard cloud solutions.
Building Key Customer Architecture Deliverables: Business & Solution Architecture, Target State, Transformation Roadmap
- Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design.
- Partner with other members of Customer Advisory to ensure feasibility of the business capabilities mapping to SAP solution architecture.
- Drive solution expansion by highlighting value & linkages to the broader SAP Portfolio and Innovation.
Inclusive People Leadership
- Ensure the team engages with customers early in the sales cycle by matching customer needs to SAP solutions and qualifying the opportunity against a probability of success.
- Support new sales and adoption via a team with deep solution-specific expertise and competitive differentiation knowledge.
- Provide thought leadership to the Architect Advisors and account team on the development of the account strategy.
- Guide direct team and account team in creation of overall theme and competitive differentiation (value wedges) and the execution of dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements.
- Provide answers to customer / internal SAP team inquiries concerning advanced solution topics focusing on driving customer success and business outcomes.
- Encourage consistent messaging and the employ of digital assets in all customer engagements, including recorded demos, presentations, microsites, and other reusable content.
What you bring:
- Professional experience with large, multi-national software or Consulting organizations and with a demonstrated expertise asset intensive industries.
- SAP product experience and/or relevant solutions / Line of Business experience.
- Working knowledge of Cloud in the Business-to-Business (B2B) environment.
- Working knowledge of and experience with Cloud, Hosted Services, and SAAS (software as a service)/ PAAS (platform as a service)/ IAAS (Infrastructure as a Service) models, cloud-based commerce/ business networks.
- Viewed as a mentor and a Presales expert across SAP or the market, capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth.
- Proven track record of success in consultative selling area.
- Ability to engage through storytelling.
- Experience managing, coaching, and developing senior and early talent as well as market-leading talent in a complex, high-functioning environment.
- Togaf or SAPIEA-10 certifications and Experience in using EAM tools is an added value for candidates
