Job Description

As an intern you are responsible for further developing our production processes. For this you will be setting up experiments independently and using or developing various analytical methods to help you with the research.

Performing feasibility tests of subculturing anchorage-dependent cells on substrates in suspension and optimizing cell and virus culture parameters.

• Perform or develop analytical tests as for example titrations, cell culturing and counting, ELISA, metabolite testing.

• You will actively participate in the team and give your opinion on our projects, beyond your internship assignment.• Providing a fresh perspective to the department by sharing your opinion.

The described tasks form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.

• A third-year or fourth-year HBO or MSc student Life Sciences or related

• You are familiar with various microbiology and cell biology techniques

• You are searching for an internship where you have the freedom to take initiative

• You are fluent in Dutch or English

• You are available for a period of at least 5 months for 5 days a week.
