Key job responsibilities
Our QA Engineers test code at both the service and user level, using a variety of black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques. As a QA Engineer, you will innovate our test strategy across multiple dependencies, locales and device types and implement highly scalable automation to enable Search stack testing across 21 locales.You will work to be able to understand software internals, debug complex problems including performance bottlenecks in Search stack, Troubleshoot Search escalations and regression and write automated tests in and/or using existing automated tools.
You must have experience in diagnosing project release problems and taking corrective action, such as escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve results. Our QA Engineers are also responsible for driving our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and for reporting on test progress, metrics, and issues.

- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
- Experience as QA on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
- Experience with Lucene or Solr and Learning to Rank having worked with Ecommerce Search before

- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
