Key job responsibilities
An ideal candidate for this role:
· Will have relevant experience in data analytics working with large data sets and to extract and transform data using various tools and technologies· Will use data to support ideas, drive actionable outcomes, and provide unique ways to present data and information in an easy to consume format· Will draw inferences and conclusions, create dashboards and visualizations of processed data
· Will have business and communication skills to be able to work with product owners to understand key business questions to build reports that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately
. Will be very comfortable juggling competing priorities and handling ambiguity
A day in the life
You will be responsible for modeling forecasting problems, uncovering insights, and identifying improvement opportunities using statistical, machine learning, algorithmic, data mining, and visualization methods. Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will analyze forecast variances, address key drivers, and identify efficiency gains. You’ll apply diverse tools, data sources, and analytical techniques to solve high-impact business questions and present insights clearly and effectively. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll independently manage issues and convey findings to non-technical audiences. This role significantly influences business outcomes—accurate forecasting enhances both cost efficiency and customer service quality on a global level.

- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL

- Experience working with Tableau
- Experience using very large datasets
