Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for aat our state of the art facility at Dunboyne Biologics. The Specialist, Engineering will ensure compliance by ensuring that the required maintenance (Preventative Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and PDM works are completed as per required dates.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
- Prepare the weekly maintenance schedule as required from the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Engages with site enterprise scheduling team to ensure that the required time to execute maintenance is built into the production schedules.
- Lead and chair weekly schedule meetings where weekly metrics are reviewed and action plans as appropriate are put in place.
- Complete weekly metric reports for the team and report at Tier1.
- Maintain long, medium and short term look aheadplan.
- Point of contact for Plant Engineering at weekly finite schedulingmeeting.
- Lead Maintenance Tier 0 meeting ensuring daily maintenance schedule iscompleted.
- Work with reliability team and equipment vendors to develop service level agreements(SLA).
- Account for monthly accruals relating to SLAspend.
- Raise purchase requisitions for maintenanceexpenditure.
- Seek feedback from stakeholders to continually improve the maintenance and schedulingprocess.
- Work with functional leads to ensure appropriate resourcing available for schedulecompletion.
- Work closely with Maintenance Planner to agree the correct timing for works completion.
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- Trade and/or 3rd level engineering/ technical qualification.
- Experience with CMMS (SAP PM/ equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of work management and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and be able to manage multiple inputs.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative in a constructive manner.
- Flexible and self-motivated.
- Proven record of accomplishments of working in a Pharma/Biopharma company or related industry is desirable.
- Proven ability around working cross functionally, focusing on meeting and tracking to schedules and embracing an interdependent work culture.
- Experience working in a GMP /regulated environment is desirable.
- Organisation Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
