In this role, you will:
- Lead all product development for the Capital Markets business within the Municipal Products Group (MPG) and support business strategy evolution
- Work collaboratively with various groups within the Municipal Products Group including Investor Finance, Public Finance, Municipal Cash Sales & Trading, and Municipal Derivative Marketing & Trading
- Function as a player-coach and provide leadership to the team while maintaining individual coverage and production responsibilities
- Be integrally involved in structured finance solutions for investor & issuer clients byseeking to obtain financing solutions for municipal securities or restructure existing securities holdings
- Be integrally involved in capital management strategies across MPG
- Develop trust-based relationships with various partners to MPG including Market Risk Management, Treasury, Investment Portfolio, Capital Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance
- Provide thought leadership to the Municipal Products Group and its clients
- Build network of influence among municipal market professional including, bond lawyers, credit providers, tax attorneys, financial advisors, financial sponsors, and key industry vendors
- Represent MPG within the Company in support of specific municipal finance business
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience with a background that includes municipal finance, securitizations, pre-pays and similar structures, product development, and derivatives
- Consistent track record of revenue generation as an investment banker and significant depth and tenure of issuer and investor client relationships
- Acknowledged expert in their field
- Demonstrated ability to implement defined business objectives and execute business development strategy
- Comprehensive knowledge of the municipal finance sector
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Management and leadership skills

Pay Range
$249,500.00 - $518,300.00
