What a typical day looks like:
- Work together with the core development team on bleeding edge technology towards top-of-the-linehigh voltage power electronicsproducts;
- Design and evaluate advanced control algorithms in C orMatlab/Simulink/Simscapeand support deployment on real hardware:
- Work front-line with the customer and help achieve their goals to inspire further collaboration in pre-project phase;
- Use GIT, Lauterbach Trace32, Polarion, Jira, Vector CANoe/CANape/vFlash, Oscilloscopes;
- Drive and support documentation and traceability of software requirements, architecture and detailed designs;
- Support development of embedded software and system level testing strategies;
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software and system design teams;
- Support base software development in non-power related areas, e.g. drivers or diagnostics.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- University degree - preferably computer science, electronics or similar;
- Demonstrated experience as a software developer for embedded systems in the automotive industry, preferably in high voltage power electronics applications;
- Experience with C orMatlab/Simulink/Simscapeand GIT;
- Strong technical understanding and analytical skills (systematic approach, recognize dependencies, weaknesses and risks);
- Good English and German Communication, presentation and people engagement skills.
We consider the following experiences a plus:
- Knowledge of Hardware development, schematic design and simulation;
- Experience developinglow level software (Kernel, HAL and drivers)for new ARM, Power PC or C2000 MCUs;
- Functional safety according toISO 26262;
- Software development processes such asAutomotive SPICE;
- Experience with Lauterbach Trace32, Polarion, Jira, Vector CANoe/CANape/vFlash, Oscilloscopes.
