Strategic Project Leadership:
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the integration and functionality of business technologies across the organization.
- Drive project objectives that align with business goals and ensure projects deliver the desired value to stakeholders.
Project Management and Execution:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and implementation of complex projects within the BizTech portfolio.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and address any barriers to project success.
Risk Management and Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks associated with project timelines, resources, or technologies and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Implement a robust process for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on risks and adjustments made throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource Allocation and Budget Management:
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal deployment across projects to meet objectives without exceeding budget constraints.
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring financial compliance.
Process Optimization and Innovation:
- Continuously assess and improve project management processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and expedite project completion.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within the project management team to stay ahead of industry trends.
Stakeholder Management and Reporting:
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders about project status, milestones, issues, and outcomes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to refine project scopes, set expectations, and gather feedback to enhance future project delivery.
Mentorship and Team Leadership:
- Mentor junior TPMs and project managers, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in technical project management.
- Lead by example in fostering a collaborative, transparent, and empowering environment within the team
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of experience in program or project management within a technology environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional technology projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and contemporary agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, negotiating and managing project priorities, and handling project escalations.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical teams at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and analytical thinking.
- Experience in business process reengineering and the integration of business technologies such as ERP, CRM, or other large-scale platforms.
