KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports local finance team in preparing the stand-alone and consolidated statutory financial statements, tax and management reports
- Ensure all comments and observations from external audit are included in the final report. Helping to develop and maintain statutory country templates
- Prepare and perform quarterly/periodical statutory adjustments ( bridges between US GAAP and Local GAAP) . Prepare reconciliations for statutory accounts as per required timing
- Maintain the relation and support with the Statutory Audit Process (gather and submit information). Ensure the final Financial Statements are in the required local format
- Ensure yearly entity governance existing countries/ERP’s (new entity set up’s / updates to entity master data / mergers / liquidations)
- Responds to specific questions from business stakeholders and clarifies uncertainties/cases when necessary. May establish, modify, document and co-ordinate implementation of reporting digital tools
- May coordinate ad-hoc projects as regional activities transitions, finance IT tools implementations; Maintain and make use of other finance and non-finance departments for achieving the goals;
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting & Audit;
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of relevant experience in Audit; Other finance departments (Controlling/ Corporate finance/ Financial Statements & Statutory Reporting) might be a plus;
- US GAAP / knowledge of IFRS Knowledge; ACCA/ACA/Ceccar or similar qualification would be a plus;
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.), SAP , technology expertise;
- Ability to prepare financial statements, knowledge of general accounting principles;
- Fluent: English. German may be a plus; Critical thinking and ability to drive changes; Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
