Essential Functions of the Job:
Strategic Pursuit and Opportunity Management
- Contribute to the execution of the pursuit methodology and support in the development of research packs, stakeholder profiles, credentials, market share data, competitor analysis, etc., during pre-RFP and proposal development stages
- Source information from relevant internal sources and teams etc., collate and review information logically, producing high quality outputs using standard templates in a timely manner
- Set and drive a project management plan throughout the bid (pursuit) cycle with critical milestones, coordinating with the onshore teams
- Act as the central point of contact in managing the end-to-end process: evaluating requirements, organizing meetings, preparing meeting notes, finalizing timelines and accountabilities as per deadlines
- Assist the onshore team in bid management activities including development of kick-off documents, CV collation for team book, orals preparation materials and review of client presentations
- Liaise with other internal teams and design teams in the development and production of client collaterals such as storyboards, placemats, proposals and internal presentations
- Establish and maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders building productive relationships; adhering to agreed timelines for deliverables and meeting expected quality benchmarks
- Support in the development of draft proposal sections based on RFP/proposal requirement that are client-focused and innovative
- Oversee the quality review process, provide direction and coordinate support services, as required/as appropriate
- Exhibit innovative thinking and flexible approach while managing complex and out-of-scope requests
- Support the team in maintaining the repository of the recent client presentations, RFI / RFP responses, marketing collateral, etc.
Leadership/operations
- Interact effectively and maintain good rapport among a diverse group of team members, customers and colleagues, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
- Interact directly with the clients to capture first level requirements for the projects and also capture the requirements for complex projects
- Effectively handle routine tasks including follow-up and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, communicating the concerns to Pursuits Enablement leadership as and when required
- Demonstrate best work practices within department and among other teams
- Monitor and review the standard electronic file management and archiving
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Ability to meet tight deadlines which are essential for a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate best work practices within department and among other teams
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills including telephone, MS Teams and e-mail support
Supervision Responsibilities:
- This role will have supervisory responsibilities and direct reports
- Will be responsible for leading a region
- Act as a counselor for Pursuit Coordinators (Senior Associate and Associate Ranks)
- Assist with reporting and quality control procedures for client-facing collateral
- Quality review of deliverables
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Good business acumen
- Good understanding of Business Development and Pursuit Management
- Excellent mother-tongue standard Englishas the role requires direct communication with international team members and clients.
- Organized, detail-oriented and highly deadline-driven
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and listening)
- Good critical thinking
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines which are essential for a fast-paced environment
- Good project management, coordination and negotiation skills
- Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft suite and Internet-based research
- Prior experience in pursuits/pre-sales/bid management, project management
- Experience with SharePoint is desirable
- Able to build collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Other Requirements:
- Depending on regional geography, some travel might be required as well as attending leadership meetings/trainings
- From time to time, internal and external obligations may require working after normal business hours
Education:
- University/bachelor’s degree required (preferably MBA in Marketing/International Business)
Experience:
- 7 Yrs to 11 Yrs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential as the role requires direct communication with international team members
- Well versed in using MS Office
