General Summary:

• The charter of the Android Compliance team is to ensure that the end-product qualifies Google compatibility requirements with CTS,VTS,GTS,STS test suites.

• The team is looking for a candidate who has strong understating of Android framework, test methodologies, troubleshooting/analyzing failures and running Google compliance test suites.

• The position involves Understanding of SOC Architecture, triaging test failures and routing to the right tech area.

• Candidate would also require contributing to the test automation

This position gives an exposure to understand Android Ecosystem testing to commercial launch of the product.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ year of work experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans, and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

• 2 to 6 years of industry experience.

• Good experience in Python, Android Compatibility testing(CTS,VTS,GTS) or Android Software Testing

• Excellent triage and system level debugging skills.

• Good analytical / problem solving / sound reasoning skills/ Excellent communication skillsd.

• Good understanding on SOC systems knowledge level tests validation methodologies.

• Good understanding in working android environment.

• Strong Scripting (Python/ Perl) and C/C++ programming skills.
