-You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the development of products to customer specifications
-As a hardware engineering technical expert, working under limited supervision, you will leverage advanced tools and simulation techniques to deliver high impact business results while acting as a technical leader and mentor to more junior engineers

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a technicaldiscipline such as engineering, science, or technology.
•A minimum of 10 years of experience as technical contributor in a New ProductIntroduction (NPI) environment.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing and solving complex technicalproblems and providing solutions that can be implemented in a timely manner.
•A minimum of 5 years of experience working with detailed engineering andassembly drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience performing laboratory testing to verifyand confirm design outputs meet the design inputs.
•Excellent communication and technical writing skills, capable of adapting styleand tone according to the situation and audience. Effectively communicatesmessage to all levels, including to senior leadership.
•Ability to travel to manufacturing site(s) or suppliers as needed. Likely a 3-5day trip every few months.

•Experience in Lithium-Ion Battery Design and Production
•Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics and related modeling
•Experience in Energy & Thermal Management Systems
•Experience in Power Grid Systems and Inverter/Power Conversion Systems
•Experience in Liquid Cooling of Batteries
•Previous involvement in defining and developing processes related to design,analysis, test, manufacture, quality and productivity. Familiarity withrequirements of and considerations for product certification processesindicative of third party or regulatory agency certifications.
• Experience in performing classical engineering/technical analysis on designs,such as engineering stress analysis, fatigue and vibration analysis, using bothconventional engineering techniques and computer simulation.
