In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in database management activities including designing highly complex logical and physical databases
- Lead highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts
- Perform the planning, research, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of server class databases
- Design and implement security solutions including Center for Internet Security benchmarks and auditing
- Design and certify next generation database technologies
- Consult with and advise management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction
- Provide technical leadership and recommendation into the future direction of database technology
- Develop management policies, procedures, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Drive & Improve the Databases efficiency and effectiveness of the channel of business he/she lead for.
Expert indatabase infrastructure, tools, methodologies, process, backup and recovery , disasterrecovery
Expert in PostgreSQL, Yugabyte and Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate
Expert in advanced database concepts like multi-directional replication, golden gate 12c and 19c implementation and troubleshooting skills
Hands on experience on multitenant architecture
Proficient in shell scripting, Powershell scripting
Cloud (Exadata) database maintenance and migration knowledgedesirable
Hands on in supporting complex end to end databaseprojects.
Experience in handling large TB databases
L2 knowledge on PostgreSQL, Yugabtye & Oracle serverdatabases
Review/Prepare/Deploythe Database plan for the Change Requests & Work Requests for Production and Non -productionenvironments
Primary DBA for the set of applications in the line ofbusiness
