As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, code, test, and debug software programs. Your expertise in software development will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our organization. You will be part of the Sensing, Guidance and Navigation (SGN) Center of Excellence and you will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager. You'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of software solutions that meet customer requirements. You will work with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements, design software architectures, and develop high-quality code. Your work will contribute to the delivery of innovative software products that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements
• Design and develop software architectures and solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Conduct unit testing and debugging of software programs
• Work with stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet customer requirements
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software development

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Ability to speak, write and read English
