Your key responsibilities

As an ESS Supervisor you are responsible for the leadership and execution of daily administrative tasks for the Executive Assistant Group (EAG), as well as facilities related tasks for the Workplace Services Group (WSG). You have an excellent personal brand and work hard with your teams to help develop and promote their own personal brand that align with our firm’s values.   • Resource management: Within ESS, overseeing both EAG and WSG, ensuring they’re meeting the firm initiatives and goals, proactively responding to changing business needs, as well as assuring team members have the necessary tools and skills required.
  • Staff performance & development: Meet team members on regular basis to discuss feedback from various sources, celebrate accomplishments and development opportunities, while also ensuring staff members feel challenged but not overwhelmed.
  • Process improvement & change management: Promote operational excellence by challenging current practices, encouraging and supporting innovative ideas and solutions to drive efficiencies, while at the same time implementing effective change management processes.
  • Morale: Foster a positive work environment by being inclusive, communicating frequently, encouraging learning and growth, as well as recognizing & rewarding staff contributions.
  • Staffing: Responsible for leading staffing efforts to build high performing teams, including management of recruiting process
    Develop & maintain relationships: Build trust relationships across EY, as well as with our vendors and landlord.
  • Facilities: Oversee maintenance and improvements of office space, drive facility knowledge, effectively manage costs and look for opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Office Security & Safety: Assist with office security matters, lead the Occupational Health & Safety Committee and participate in local emergency response teams & initiatives.
  • Project/Committee Work: Participate on national committees and project teams as needed.

  • Supervisory experience
  • Professional services firm experience

What we look for

  • Post secondary education and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, with proven ability to learn customized software/tools.

What we offer you

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $75,600 to $113,400. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
