Your key responsibilities

  • Ideate new products and manage them through their lifecycle by partnering with EY Service Lines’ customer needs.
  • Partner with several product and feature teams to deliver a wide range of products that will be built primarily on SAP technologies (SAP Business Technology Platform).
  • Work alongside a team of product owners and feature teams to develop features for the products that will be sold to EY Clients
  • Demonstrate proven industry domain knowledge (Specific to the Telecom, Hi-Tech, Technology and utilities industry in general), and infuse them into SAP product development.
  • Enforce product governance structures and compliance activities to maintain regulatory compliance and enterprise standards.
  • Communicate feedback to the leadership team to improve and evolve the quality of products
  • Cultivate and build relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Prioritizes deadlines and provides supervision of all members of the feature teams.
  • Set and monitor goals and assess overall performance of team members and actively participates in the formal Review Committees for the Product Management group
  • Provide formal and informal coaching on-the-job to grow team members to their full potential.
  • Deliver results through others, leveraging the ability to lead through influence.
  • Responsible for assigning work and reviewing performance, requiring leadership of virtual teams
  • Display influencing skills are required to work with other departments or leaders and encourage effective feedback for all team members with stakeholders beyond the Product Management group.
  • Do budgeting and financial reporting for multiple products / services.
  • Prepare product marketing and communication artefacts in close collaboration with Product Marketing Manager and Branding/Communication teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical, business field or equivalent practical experience building/shipping technical products.
  • 15+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a product management role at large scale product or professional service organizations with significant experience in interacting with senior leaders and global C-level management.
  • Possess in depth knowledge in the Utilities domain.
  • Should have very good knowledge of S/4HANA Subscription Order Management, Convergent Mediation, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoice, FICA Business Processes. Having Commerce Cloud, CPQ, and EM is a huge plus.
  • Should have worked in regulated/ de-regulated market environment.
  • Should possess knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP’s solutions including the ability to develop solution frameworks, solution process landscapes and define integration touchpoints.
  • Domain experience in electricity, gas or water utilities industries will be added advantage.
  • Strong financial acumen ensuring financial metrics are met across the product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of the most recent trends around SAP intelligent technologies and their integration with SAP S/4HANA, leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies. Deft at designing presentations, formal writing, verbal and email communication.
  • Experience in driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience in creating strategic product roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing and delivering results through others in matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
  • SAP Activate methodology and Solution Manager experience a requirement.
  • Certification on FI-CO or S/4HANA BRIM, RAR, EM will be plus.
  • Extensive experience of working with business, engineering, sales and design teams.
  • Management of a team with resources spread across multiple geographies.
  • Proven success in defining product features and drive feature execution – from concept to commissioning.
  • Solid business acumen, management and marketing communication skills

  • Prior experience in product design or Engineering of products in B2B segment desirable.
  • Should possess good product instinct and excellent project management skills to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.

  • Experience of working in SAP S/4HANA products/projects.

  • Knowhow of embedded and side by side ML with S/4HANA is preferable.
  • SAP technical certifications are good to have.
