Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and metrics relevant to various business units and stakeholders enabling them to take strategic decisions.
Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract, transform, and load financial data from multiple sources into databases.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, cleanse, and validate data from various sources for both analytical and financial purposes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business problems into data-centric solutions that address functional, non-functional, and commercial concerns, such as reliability, scalability, and maintainability for both analytical and financial purposes.
Participate in the development and implementation of data models, algorithms, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making processes for both data analytics and FP&A functions.
Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Power BI reports and SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and visualization.
Utilize Power Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculations, measures, and custom columns.
Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices.
Collaborate with the Business Functions such as Sales Operations, Customer Success Management, Go-To Market strategy, and Regional Finance teams to enhance financial performance reporting and analysis by leveraging data analytics techniques and developing interactive dashboards.
Support the documentation and presentation of findings and insights related to both data analytics and FP&A within the Center of Excellence, including reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Assist in ad-hoc data analysis requests and contribute to ongoing data analytics and FP&A projects as part of the Center of Excellence team.
Requirements:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, data Analytics, Finance, or Business Analytics in a related field.
5-10 years of experience as an Analyst, with a focus on Power BI development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to create meaningful visual representations of data and build interactive dashboards.
Proficiency in Query languages such as SQL or MDX for data manipulation and analysis.
Basic or advanced Excel skills, including simple or complex formulae, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
Knowledge of analysis techniques, and FP&A concepts specific to the Center of Excellence in Financial Analytics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
