As a Junior ESG Finance Project Manager / Product Owner – Analyst in the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) you will be responsible for the delivery of various projects across the Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) program book of work, managed through an agile framework which allows for a prioritized backlog and interactions with a diverse set of stakeholders across different geographies.

The ESG Program Management team, as part of the FFBA team, is looking for an Analyst who will form part of a high performing team of project and data management professionals focused on delivering strategic automation to the ESG Finance Controller Reporting space. This is to support JPMorgan Chase’s requirement to track Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) obligations in response to regulatory reporting requirements (EU Taxonomy & Net Zero Emissions) and internal firmwide initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the senior project manager through ownership of all project artifacts such as the project plan, implementation plan, timelines, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
• Support the senior project manager on weekly preparation of project working group meetings, encompassing preparation of high-quality materials, diligent recording of minutes and actions.
• Got the opportunity to lead the release management function alongside the preparation and coordination of Production implementation plans
• Support data managers in driving end-to-end requirement discussions and develop and deliver plans for successful delivery of change events
• Support data managers for creation and ongoing maintenance of the Data Requirements Documents and Model Documentation which will contribute towards the goal of ensuring data is fit for consumption
• Execute of data quality testing to validate data requirements from upstream sources have been met
• Manage Project Confluence and SharePoint pages, ensuring all documents are up to date and aligned with project stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 1+ years of project management / product owner experience,with particular focus in a Finance/Banking and/or Data space
• Keen attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
• Able to communicate effectively and articulate project management needs to stakeholders
• High proficiency in key MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio), JIRA and Confluence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with desire to submerge into the detail of a topic, issue or deliverable to understand the underlying concept

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Solid understanding of Financial and/or Regulatory reporting processes; understanding of ESG related data is a plus
• Experience with Agile project methodology and work environments
• Knowledge and experience of traditional credit (Loans, Deposits, Cash)
• SQL, Cloud and Tableau knowledge
