JOB DESCRIPTION

Work Schedule: 3 days onsite at office /2 days’ work from home - (Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week, full remote is not an option)

Controllership Manager responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and guides the team strategy and structure based on business requirements
  • Reviews changes of Controllership procedures & policies
  • Ensure a strong communication strategy between the center and the main collaborators and auditors
  • Coach the team members and ensure a growth environment
  • Promote the department within the organization
  • Coordinate the month end closing, yearly financial closing, monthly reconciliations, audits and other specific requirements
  • Supervise departmental projects, initiatives, improvements and controls
  • Maintain good relationship with local business and other stake holders
  • Support team enhancement and attrition goals
  • Manage process performance to drive continuous team improvement
  • Act as a reference point for Controllership team inRFC
  • Supports the implementation of new business, systems and processes into the RFC, may participate in the SAP implementation of new businesses within EMEA
  • Supports SOX and External & Internal Audit process
  • Ensures compliance of the Financial Model,Accounting Policies and SOX Framework

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • 10-12+ years of finance experience
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.);
  • Fluent: English. other European Language may be a plus;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Critical:


  • Finance system and reporting experience
  • Experience developing forecasts and operating plans.
  • Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers).
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Developed business acumen.
  • Business partnership capability.
  • People management experience >3 years.
  • Understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.

Preferable:


  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Proactive, ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and assertive individual
  • The ability to quickly identify subtle patterns among issues.
  • The ability to make consistent and timely decisions.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, Power Point
  • CECCAR or ACCA may be a plus.
