Responsibilities
Works closely with the regional and global supply chain leadership to drive regional revenue, ensuring robust process and KPI’s including past due tracking.
Reviews working capital and drives cash flow improvement initiatives for the region. Directs analysis of receivables, payables, POs and vendor balances
Performs additional adhoc analysis as required to drive C2C efficiency. Interacts with WC lead on cash calls and setting WC targets for the region
Reviews General accounting activities. Ensures books are closed in compliance with accounting rules and policies. Ensures a robust internal controls environment
Support the META initiative to drive process and reporting harmonization across GBEs
Qualification and Experience
- Professionally qualified with 8+ years of post qualification experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail – experience with leading finance in a Product business preferred.
- Comfortable working in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines in a complex matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of month-end closing processes and budgeting processes
- Ability to drive process improvements in a global environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial people
- Self motivated, flexible and results oriented
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle/HFM, Excel) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving financial and commercial issues.
- Strong leadership, mentoring and people management skill
