COMPANY DESCRIPTION
This position is within the Global Remote Service Delivery (RSD) organization, which providesmethodology and content to drive their innovation agenda based on industry business models requirements; thusproviding value realization, resulting in increased customer satisfaction, contract retention and renewals. The role of the Service Consultant Enterprise Support is to ensure excellence in regional customer delivery via the tasks and responsibilities outlined below.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work with a highly experienced team of technical experts within the Premium Hub CoE RSD Unit
- Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to customers in complex environments for specific fields/areas/solutions
- Deliver remote Continuous Quality Check (CQC) services or Expert Guided Implementation services as technical/functional expert for broad area of topics
- Collaborate with teams in other regions and/or functions across the globe
- Actively provide customer feedback to development based on delivery
- Support our customers in their transformation to S/4HANA (on premise or cloud) and/or to the Cloud
- Be engaged on the latest technologies and SAP products
- Be accountable for projects and services and deliver Enterprise Support services / projects
- Drive new initiatives and activities
- Develop new service contents, trainings, specifications and documentation
- Find learning opportunities in daily tasks by staying curious and open to new experiences that will improve technical and functional knowledge.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Maths, Engineering or similar
- Functional and Technology Experience in one of SAP cloud solutions, such as SuccessFactors, Ariba, CX, Digital Supply Chain (IBP), S/4HANA Cloud etc.
- Technology: SAP BASIS/ ABAP / Netweaver (Basic to Advanced knowledge)
- Application: S/4 HANA
- SAP Cloud Platform or SAP Cloud Applications
- Programming skills
- Database skills – SAP HANA
- Proficient English language skills
- Technical inquisitive nature with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of relevant experience in SAP products and technology required.
- Minimum 1-2 years project/delivery experience on SAP Cloud solution in any one functional area like Success Factors, Ariba, CX, IBP (Digital Supply Chain), SAC. Relevant module specific certification would be a plus
- Strong programming knowledge especially in SAP technologies such as object oriented programming in ABAP, databases, CDS ODATA and SAP Fiori.
- Strong knowledge of databases (database design, efficient queries).Database performance tuning & administration (preferably HANA) would be required.
- Ability to interpret & explain SAP Early Watch Alert (EWA) reports to customer would be a plus.
- Understanding of Cloud native architecture and development is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to learn and scale up in focus areas within SAP like S/4 HANA and SAP Cloud platform
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required as this is a customer facing role in delivery.
- Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.
- Ability to transfer business requirement into a realizable technical requirement and support in content development is a plus
