Your Role and Responsibilities- Responsible for leading cross functional projects, programs, and releases to bring software offerings to the market.
- Work with the engineering teams, product management teams, and designers across business functions to develop and execute scope and schedule of the solutions.
- Responsible for putting together risk mitigation plans, identifying & managing dependencies, escalation of issues, closely managing scope and schedule and reporting status.
- Responsible to get various software release approvals including Product export classification, Product license, Open-Source license, Globalization, Accessibility etc.,
- Being proactive and have growth mindset of addressing complex issues. Work with leadership to identify and improve process efficiency.
- Manage and lead initiatives involving multiple functions across a portfolio of project teams to drive the engineering development and execution process for as a service offering and solutions.
- Manage the release schedules, critical deliverables, key milestones, and other key requirements for successful delivery.
- Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies for process optimization.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 6+ years of total experience with Technical Background in IT Industry
- 2+ years of experience as a Release or Delivery Manager
- Extensive experience using project planning tools to create, manage, and track project results.
- Ability to handle Multiple deliveries or Releases
- Ability to effectively communicate project plans, risks, and outcomes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience managing projects and programs in a complex cross-team environment.
- Experience with Agile Development, Design Thinking, and/or Security and Privacy by Design.
- Agile Scrum Master Certified preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- IBM Cloud Paks and certification process preferred.
- Development or engineering background preferred.
